Counting your eggs

This exercise can be used as a plenary or starter activity in a maths lesson, or after looking at other pages in the site. The PDF version can be set for homework or used when there is no access to computers but it MUST be printed in colour.

The answers to the questions are:

There are 7 yellow eggs.
There are 6 blue eggs.
There are 4 brown eggs.
There are 29 eggs in the picture.
